I found out about melon bytes on twitter and checked it out without knowing anything about it. 

I'm normally very selective about the sites I join but I am interested in social media and how I can use it for business and personal use.

Anyway I found the experiences shared on the home page pretty engaging actually, not least someone's first experience treating a head injury patient, so thought i'd give it a bash.

Found it interesting the questions asked to build up the profile and interesting that the first year available when selecting your date of birth is 1885.  Thats not to say that people of a certain age (that age being 124) would not like to use melonbytes.

In fact I hope they do, I'd read their experiences all day!

Overall good experience, I'm writing this after all.  I look forward to reading and sharing more.
